Colleen Gold (she/her/hers) was born in Los Angeles to a stage manager mother and multi-hyphenate performer father. Her parents, along with countless other arts professionals from both the East and West Coasts, raised her in theaters across the state of California. The first musical she actually remembers seeing is the Emerald City tour of Wicked at the Hollywood Pantages Theater in 2005. She decided then that she could never be anything but an actor.

Her career has taken Colleen across the United States and Europe. She has worked as a production assistant, actor, and stage manager in LA, Sacramento, Orange County, New York, and Nashville. In 2018, she was admitted to Music Academy International as a musical theatre student and spent the summer in Mezzano, Italy, training with some of America’s best musical theatre college professors. Her first tour took her back to Southern California, visiting schools with a production focused on human connection and community for struggling youth.

Colleen moved to New York City during the COVID-19 pandemic to attend John Jay College of Criminal Justice for forensic science. At John Jay, Colleen provided voice over work for the digital production team and was a member of the Theatrical Players club. Now, she is a working actor in the city and enjoys practicing latte art, paper quilling, traveling, writing music, volunteering with BCEFA, and spending time with her partner Emily and dog Inspector Bucket.
